How we handle your data.

Who we are.

Grand Vision Perspective is an Indonesia-registered consultancy run by Barrie Elsden, based in Bali, working with clients across Europe, the US, and Asia. If you need to reach us about anything in this notice, email connect@grandvisionperspective.com.

What we collect.

We only collect data you give us directly, plus a small amount of anonymous usage data when you visit the site.

• Contact form submissions. When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email, and the message you send. This is delivered to connect@grandvisionperspective.com via our forms provider, FormSubmit.
• Field Notes subscribe. When you subscribe to our field notes via the form on the insights page, we collect your email address only. This is delivered to the same inbox.
• Strategy call bookings. When you book a strategy call via the booking link, you provide a name, email, and a few questions about your business through Google Calendar.
• Anonymous site usage. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It records anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is being used (which pages are popular, what countries visits come from). It does not identify individual visitors.

What we do not collect.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics with personal-data profiles, social media tracking pixels, or any cookie that follows you around the web. The site does not set tracking cookies. Nothing on this site is sold or shared with advertisers.

How we use it.

We use what you send us to reply to you, run the strategy call, deliver a proposal if there is a fit, and (if you have subscribed) to send the occasional field note when one is published. We do not auto-enrol you in anything. We do not send marketing automation. You will hear from us when there is something worth hearing about.

Third parties we rely on.

To run the site we use the following services. Each has its own privacy notice.

• FormSubmit processes contact form and subscribe form submissions before delivering them to our inbox.
• Cloudflare hosts the site behind its CDN and provides the cookieless web analytics described above.
• GitHub Pages serves the static site files.
• Google Calendar / Appointments handles strategy call bookings.
• Google Workspace hosts the inbox at connect@grandvisionperspective.com.

How long we keep things.

Emails you send us live in the connect@ inbox until we both agree the conversation is done, after which we may archive or delete the thread. Subscribe list emails are kept while you are subscribed; if you reply to unsubscribe, we remove your address from the list. Booking records sit in Google Calendar until the call has happened plus a short follow-up window.

Your rights.

Wherever you are based, you can ask us at any time to: tell you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete what we hold, or opt out of any list we have you on. Email connect@grandvisionperspective.com and we will action it within a working week.

Changes to this notice.

If we change anything material, we update this page and the date below. The current version of this notice is always the one published here.
